Colin was born in
1939, then he was bombed, evacuated, educated, expelled,
repatriated, married, had offspring, qualified and
taught; until finally in 1965, aged 26, he became
a full-time professional artist. He qualified from
two Art Colleges in painting, design and printmaking,
and the Open University in psychology and aesthetics.
He has exhibited in
England, Scotland, Wales, Sweden, Germany, Holland,
U.S.A., Canada, Japan, Venezuela, and Australia and
he has works in private and corporate collections
worldwide.
Colin’s pictures
vary in styles ranging from childlike and amusing
images to cityscapes and landscapes in his own original
style. He also creates complex modernist abstracts
exploring the relationships of colour, texture and
shape.
Colin lives in Brighton
with his wife Fran, also an artist.
